Result

Several relevant outcomes will be achieved through this project, including:

  1. Improved access and quality of inclusive and climate-ready primary health services for all groups in society – including women, individuals with disabilities, and marginalised groups;
  2. Strengthened capacity of primary health workers in addressing health challenges associated with climate change, including an enhanced understanding of the health impacts and appropriate mitigation strategies;
  3. Increased community engagement in the planning and decision-making processes concerning primary healthcare and the effects of climate change, with emphasis on the participation of marginalised groups; and
  4. Enhanced collaboration and partnerships among diverse stakeholders, fostering effective and inclusive responses to climate change-related health challenges, including cross-sectoral collaboration between the health sector and other relevant sectors.
